Beautiful people having a great time in beautiful locations makes for the perfect wedding pictures. Angelina's Russian clan livened up things as well. Ceremony at Fløyen. Portrait location was Alvøen. Make sure to check out the extra portrait session we did the following day on Ulrikken.
The best photo locations for wedding portraits often have a personal meaning to the couple. Nikolai's grandparents' garden was the perfect location for his and Mari's portraits. This overgrown and lush place felt like somewhere straight out of a fairy tale.
The day started out with some proper Bergen rain and wind, giving the imminent event of the wedding an atmosphere of gravitas. Guri and Tore are an easygoing couple who were not fazed by some bad weather and equally relaxed in front of the camera. As soon as the couple left the church, the skies had cleared in perfect timing for the celebration to start.
The top of Ulrikken is one of my favorite portrait locations around Bergen. We realized that it would take up to much time of the wedding day and that the dress would not make it through the shoot clean, so Angelina and Audun decided to book me for another half day the day after the wedding. They arrived a little tired from their big day the previous day, but the fresh air combined with all the fun we had made them really liven up. We all were very happy with the day and the results! Thank you for being such good sports A & A!!
With Gjertrud being a tailor at the National Theatre there was no question in my mind about where to take her's and Trond's wedding portrait. This sunflooded staircase is such a great location for wedding photos. And what a cool choice of wedding dress!

Hvem sier at man må gifte seg om sommeren? Disse bildene er resultatet av en kort portrett seanse rett etter vielsen. Det var både gøy og veldig godt å komme seg inn i det varme etterpå.
Who says you have got to get married in the summer? These pictures were taken during a short portrait session near storetveit kirke right after the ceremony.
